Who's Who: Abdulhadi bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri, assistant for executive affairs to the Saudi minister of foreign affairs

Abdulhadi bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri was recently appointed assistant for executive affairs to the Saudi minister of foreign affairs, at the rank of minister, following a royal decree.

Prior to the appointment, Al-Mansouri was president of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) with the rank of minister since May 2019.

Al-Mansouri received a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from the Jeddah-based King Abdul Aziz University in 1998.

He served as assistant to the minister of transport from June 2018 to May 2019, as undersecretary at the Ministry of Health from 2015 to 2016, and as an adviser to the minister of energy, industry and mineral resources from 2016 to 2017.

Al-Mansouri worked as vice president of financial affairs and operations at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC), as well as the center’s director of human resources department, and as administrative principal of recruitment at Saudi Aramco.

Additionally, he previously worked as deputy head of finance and operations at KAPSARC. He is the founder and director of Aramco Overseas Co. Ltd., president of the Arabian Society for Human Resource Management, and a board member of the International Federation of Training and Development Organization.

He has been a member of many other committees and groups, including the board of directors of the National Commission for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation. He also chaired the Ministry of Health’s Hajj committee.
